Spikers are starting to come back, seen quite a few air spiking teams, not many obs flame but they will soon follow, no doubt these are all IWAY players who just want easy fame.

I don't see blood spike as much of a treat, like audioaxes said it is slow and you don't even need a "good" infuser to save you team as a averge one will do. But when they do take halls they can hold for ages, saturday and sunday morning (GMT) there has always been a blood spike holding halls for the past few weeks.

bloodspike is easilly countered. it's a slow spike, interupt rangers and shutdown mesmer totally wreck that build to shredz.

Well Alice in Wonderland I was playing against them last night and they were running some what of a fast cast fire spike +AoE we stood our soon but in the relic run it made the positioning real bad :/ with a good group the build they played would be playable.

To me, this update seemed very Mez friendly, IMHO. I think ANet has been listening to all the Mesmers out there.

precision? Easily interrupted ftl? nerf to Mantra of Resolve and Distortion gl getting your precision shots off vs anyone who has half a brain.

power shot in RSpike? No. RSpike = Punishing/Dual/Savage/Read/FW or Winno/Distortion/Whirling D/Res Sig 3 or 4 of these rangers + 2 Orders Necs

3 man RSpike is trashed now that OoV got nailed hard

I see most RSpikes changing to full 4 man Ranger with 1 orders nec :/

heh, i ran a beast master pressure build before and was laughed at when we were watching the observation mode in HoH...perhaps i should raise it up again *grins*

Massive degen builds could thrive more after this update. Of course, everyone and their grandmother is going to be carrying Ineptitude until the cows come home to graze....

I wasn't in awe of IWAY, just tired of facing it all the time. I don't think there's anything in particular that's going to throw me for a loop this time either. In any event, it's going to be interesting the next several days leading up to March 7th.

And dang if that's just what my ranger needs, a bunch of IWAY'ers rolling rangers with no idea how to play them. It's hard enough for me to get a group already with a low rank, I'd hate to think any intelligent team would rather take a r3+ person who farmed IWAY than me, a fairly experienced ranger .... *shudder*

I agree with others that blood spike will probably be the new FoTM, and messies will all be packing cry of frustration/rangers w/ choking gas to counter it

actually me and a friend already has a new build goin and yes it invovles mesmers i can't reveal much atm but it is severly affective (were workn out a few bugs)
